Mid-capacity carousel originally built for the SFE Adventurer cable-lay vessel and engineered as a fully-modular vessel-of-opportunity package — the same 2,500 MT spread can be mobilised onto any suitable MPSV / OCV with adequate deck loading for short-campaign cable lay work. CNC-machined slewing ring and bolted modular shell strike fast on deck; 4 × 75 kW Smart Inverter Drives synchronised with the vessel's tensioner / LCE for precise lay-rate matching. The 3,000 MT carousel sits below the main deck, lowering the vessel's centre of gravity for improved stability and freeing weather-deck real estate for lay-spread equipment. The spread is paired with a dedicated spooling arm for top-loading product directly into the carousel during transpooling and at-sea reload, with active pay-on / pay-off control synchronised to the carousel rotation.

A modular spread comprising the carousel, an adjacent containerised loading tower with 2 MT integrated Linear Cable Engine (LCE) and a top-loading cable highway. Driven by 4 × 160 kW VFD duty motors through a bevel-helical gearbox; precisely-controlled frequency drives match the turntable speed exactly to the vessel's cable laying rate, with quick-connect control links for local diagnostics or remote operation from the cable-lay control room.
