Offshore Winches

Heavy-duty hydraulic offshore winch systems for mooring, abandonment & recovery (A&R), towing and cable-handling applications. Designed for offshore vessel duty with constant-tension control, redundant braking, automatic spooling, in-line dynamometers for tension/length monitoring and class-certified construction. Each package ships with its own electro-hydraulic power unit, local control stand and remote drop-in panel.

  • Hydraulic constant-tension — spring-loaded hydraulic-release band brake, hydraulic clutch, automatic spooling with manual override.
  • Integrated electro-hydraulic power pack — 2× motors per HPU (110 kW + 11 kW typical), soft-start, seawater cooling, oil heater, temperature/level sensors.
  • Length & tension monitoring — in-line dynamometer (Dynaline) feeding a wheelhouse drop-in panel with constant-tension setting and dynamic-tension display.

K-Link Bravo — full 35 MT mooring package for the 33 kV Koh Tao submarine cable system: 6× 35 MT SWL / 52 MT brake-holding dual-speed winches, 6 rolls of 1 000 m × 38 mm steel wire rope, 2× 3 × 75 kW HPUs, 6× fairleads, 6× winch foundations, 6× load-line meters & foundations, central control panel with monitoring, and 6-camera CCTV with central display. GL 2030 — 1× 90 MT A&R winch with 2 000 m wire for cable abandonment & recovery, integrated with the GL 2030 cable-lay package.

Four 50 MT hydraulic constant-tension mooring winches supplied as a complete package — main winches with local control stand welded to the skid, dedicated electro-hydraulic power units, in-line dynamometer (Dynaline) for length and tension monitoring, and wheelhouse drop-in remote panel with 8.4″ TFT colour touchscreen. Slewing brake is spring-loaded with hydraulic release; clutch is hydraulic; spooling is automatic with manual override. Drive motor is INI — performance and reliability equivalent to Staffa / Sai.
