Offshore Cranes

Offshore knuckle-boom and telescopic-boom cranes engineered for heavy-lift, wind-farm support, subsea operations and cable-lay deck handling. Each crane is delivered in six modular units — fixed boom, knuckle (or telescopic) boom, pedestal with slewing column, control panel, operator cabin and platform — and is fully certified and load tested by BV and ABS (project basis) before sailaway.

  • Modular six-unit build — fixed boom, knuckle / telescopic boom, pedestal & slewing column, control panel, operator cabin and platform shipped pre-tested for fast vessel integration.
  • Dual motor-reduction slew + over-centre luffing — twin slew drives with safety valves & brakes, hydraulic luffing cylinders with over-centre safety valves for controlled lifting.
  • Full safety package + class certification — emergency stop, hand-pump lowering, anti-two-block hoist limit, overload alarm and load-monitoring on every build; certified to BV or ABS Lifting Appliance per project.

SFE Adventurer — 40 MT Offshore Knuckle Boom Crane (SWL 40 T @ 10 m, 400 T·m, 100 m hook travel) for wind-farm support, and two 20 MT Telescopic Boom Cranes (Model CT3-20S2-20F · SWL 20 T @ 4.5 m, 100 T·m each) for cable lay deck operations. All four delivered as six pre-tested modules and integrated alongside Dimension's quadrant, tensioner and overboarding chute spreads.

Offshore knuckle boom crane delivered as part of the cable lay equipment project awarded by LS Marine Solution to Dimension, supplied to support the Vertical Injector and offshore lifting operations on the GL 2030. The crane is delivered in six modular units — fixed boom, knuckle boom, pedestal with slewing column, control panel, operator cabin and platform — and is electrically, hydraulically and mechanically tested prior to delivery. Slewing is performed by two motor-reduction gear units with safety valves and brakes; luffing by dual hydraulic cylinders with over-centre safety valves for safe and controlled operation.
